Went and saw the King of the Blues last night. He's still got it, and I'm glad I decided to go see him before it's too late. After all, he's 83, might not get too many more chances.
B.B. and his band put on a great show. He talked between most songs, lots of funny stories and banter. He played a set with the whole band, then a set with the guitarist, bassist, and drummer, then brought the whole band back out again. His voice is still great and the guitar....well, classic B.B. king. If you haven't seen him and have a chance, do it now or regret it when it's too late.

He threw out handfuls of picks and some necklaces (couldn't see what was on them). He let a couple kids up and gave 'em a hug, even called one back up so her dad could get a picture.
He was even pretty nice to the jackass that interrupted while he was talking. Some jerk that decided the middle of the concert was the time to yell at B.B. and tell him he had his first promo pic, and then proceeded to take it up to try and get it signed. B.B. thought he was giving it to him, but he took the pic from him and said he would sign it later, and told the security guys not to hurt him when they escorted him down the stairs.
